So it was a journey to find this place! I was in Boston for the first time and I relied on yelp to search for good eats. This place popped up when I was searching for lobster rolls near downtown. We wanted to go to another place but we waited for the bus forever and it never came so we decided on this location instead.

We were satisfied with our decision. The lobster roll and Boston chowda was delicious! I got their daily special, which came with lobster roll, clam chowda, and a soft drink. The roll was stuffed with lobster and the meat was sweet and perfectly made. It isn't the lobster rolls I usually get which is smothered in butter, they mixed it with mayonnaise instead. It was still good though. I thought the clam chowder was really good as well! It is packed with ingredients. I got a couple of clams in every spoon of clam chowder. I can't wait to go back and have more lobster roll and clam chowder! The daily special was more than enough for me, I could have shared it with someone. But then again I was eating the whole day so I wasn't really hungry. This place is worth a try and it took forever to find with my gps on my phone. It is inside Quincy market!

First of all, Faneuil Hall Marketplace has one of the best food courts I have ever been too. It really is a magical place! Now to Boston Chowda....just to tell you I visited this venue multiple times while on my trip to Boston, didn't even try many of the other places as I usually do ( I like to try everything) It's just that I liked this place so much and I was only there for a few days I had to take advantage as much as I could. Now on to the review of the food. The lobster roll was delicious and fresh. The seasoning was just right and the bread bun it was in was delicious. The clam chowder soup was good......but I like the lobster bisque better. I also tried the lobster pot pie and it was soooo gooood.

Who woulda thunk you could find a tasty lobster roll and clam chowder combo in the tourist trap that is Faneuil Hall? It's one of the stalls in the main building, get the combo for around $18, comes with a free drink. Take it and sit in the rotunda with the masses and chow down. It's as good as I've had anywhere else, and satisfy my lobster fix in a hurry and at a reasonable price.

Inside the Quincy Market Place you'll find the yummiest chowder ever at BOSTON CHOWDA. It's well worth a stop if you happen to wander in here like we did on our trip to Boston. We had no idea there was such a gold mine in there lol There is so much variety in there with great prices! The Boston Chowda has the best clam chowder I've ever had. Enjoy :)

I have nothing but good things to say about Boston Chowda. The chowder is as good as any place you will find in boston at much less cost. Yes you have to battle angst tourists and screaming babies but c'est la vie. Being from San Francisco I never thought a bread bowl could be anything else but sourdough but Boston Chowda might have turned my tides. Good place to take visitors for authentic food in a not-so authentic area.

Visited this place on a saturday morning, the food market was packed but worth dealing with the masses to get to this place. I had the clam chowder (of course) and the lobster roll. Both were great. The chowder was super creamy and loaded with clams while the lobster roll was packed very full of lobster meat. The lobster meat was cooked perfected tender and was not swimming in sauce. Pricey, but good.

Thank you

OK, so New Englad-y goodness in a bowl or pie... that's how I'd describe Boston Chowda. We were strolling through Quincy Hall, my first time there mind you, and the lobster mac and cheese pot pie spoke to me. It literally said that I'd be crazy not to partake of it's deliciousness. Who am I to argue with a pot pie I thought so I forsook all others in the mall and waited in line for my destiny.I ended up getting my hands on the mini pot pie filled with big chunks of lobster covered in mac and cheesiness. I also got a cup of clam chowder.. how could I not? Both dishes were delish and my wife, who's a New England native enjoyed the clam chowder since it was the perfect consistency.. not too thin and not too thick. All in all, Boston Chowda is a solid choice for a great bite!

BEST CHOWDA EVA!!!! hearts I can honestly say..you've never had real Chowda until you've had it here in Boston at the BOSTON CHOWDA Co. I am personally, not a fan of clam chowder. However, I thought, "Well, I am in Boston...and it is New England..and Clam Chowda was only created here, hence the name "New England Clam Chowder." I have to try it. And so, I did.Boy it was not a disappointment at all! I quickly fell in LoVe!!! It was so good, I made sure I came back again the next day and the next day for more! I couldn't fly back to California regretting not having enough Chowda!!! I knew I wasn't going to have anything even close to this when I get back home. I also tried the lobster roll, which was okay. Would I get it again? Yes, I would. Simply said, the CHOWDA IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

Best clam chowda!
Lobster bisque not bad either.
If you're in Boston and walking the freedom trail, take a break at Boston Chowda Co for the yummiest clam chowder you will ever taste. A close second would be Legal Seafood

Goldilocks would say other chowdas were too sweet or too brothy, but Boston Chowda Co was just right.

If you find yourself in Quincy Market and would like to try some pretty good lobster bisque, go to this place. The prices are really good and they serve it up all day. I ordered this bisque and a lobster roll (hoagie) and enjoyed it sticking my pinky out all the while. The hoagie was pretty good too, maybe just a tad too much mayo, but nothing to put me off. It was good. Actually, it was really good. I might even dare to say it was too good.

For the price there is no way that this is real lobster meat. And as I was eating this meal, I kept saying 'no way' just because the value is too good to be true. I didn't mind at all, though. Whatever the hell I crammed into my face was delicious and I am here to encourage you to do the same.

Our first trip to Boston and we enjoyed a lot of history, beauty and scenery...however the food at this place was unbelievably great! I had multiple small items to choose from a dinner entree and they were all great...
The first time we went, we had a lobster pot pie, BACON WRAPPED SCALLOPS!, and the clam chowda of course! Every time we go...the chowder is always a hit! YELP www.yelp.com
I loooooove the chicken pot pies here. They are always very fresh and piping hot. The crust is just on top of the pie itself, but it's a big crispy buttery, yummy flaky crust that goes really well…

EXCELLENT lobster roll and chowder that is equally impressive. It has to compete with the other stores that have exception lobster rolls and chowder but the flavor was very good either way. I recommend it.

Goldilocks would say other chowdas were too sweet or too brothy, but Boston Chowda Co was just right.

You have to get their lobster roll! Fresh lobster salad just jam-packed into a fresh, soft potato roll, delicious! Located in the bustling Quincy Market, you know this place is good when there is a line of people clamoring to get their hands on one of their many fresh-prepared menu offerings. I also grabbed a bowl of their "chowda" to go along with my lobster roll. Now I am not the biggest connoisseur of New England style clam chowder (most of my experience is with a canned variety), but this was some amazing soup. I imagine the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld would be very proud, or maybe they bought his recipe from Elaine...

Even in such a busy and loud setting, the gentlemen behind the counter were very polite and warm to all their patrons, that type of service should not go unnoticed. Great work.
